Declaration of interest statement (as appropriate)

Style Guidelines

Please refer to the style guidelines below when preparing your paper.
Please use the British (-ize) spelling style consistently throughout your manuscript.

  1. The articles are published exclusively in English. Each article should be accompanied by an abstract of up to 200 words, and 3-6 keywords suitable for indexing and online search purposes. The pages of the paper should be numbered.

  2. The text is double-spaced, uses 12-point Cambria font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. Please note that images supplied in colour will be published in colour online and black and white in print (unless otherwise arranged). Therefore, it is important that you supply images that are comprehensible in black and white as well (i.e. by using colour with a distinctive pattern or dotted lines). The captions should reflect this by not using words indicating colour. All figures must be numbered in the order in which they appear in the paper (e.g. Figure 1, Figure 2).

  3. References will comply with the APA system (e.g. http://www.apastyle.org/learn/tutorials/basics-tutorial.aspx). References are included in the text, in brackets, such as (author, year, and page). At the end of the article, full references are provided, titles of books and journals with Italic font, and titles of articles in journals and book chapters will have normal fonts.

  4. The journal uses a double-blind system for peer review; both reviewers' and authors' identities remain anonymous. The editorial team undertakes the first selection of articles before they are sent to at least two referees. All submitted manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism. The manuscripts containing plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, and dishonesty, are rejected.
